The study area showed an overall sediment deficit with a trend towards a positive sediment budget in the NE part of the area. Dune foot and water line showed similar behaviour throughout the study area with maximum erosion central in bays and maximum accumulation on NW parts of headlands. Apparently, this is a response to a changing wind regime with the predominant wind moving from W towards NW.
