Invertebrates such as sponges, tunicates, mollusks and others that are either sessile or slow moving and mostly lack morphological defense structures have so far provided the largest number of marine-derived secondary constituents including some of the most interesting drug candidates. This review highlights recent research findings of our group related to natural products from marine invertebrates.
