These changes in weight stabilisized after about 100 days of incubation, with the exception of Dowicil 75. Formalin did not change DW significantly, but decreased AFDW by more than 20% in both species. Dowicil was found to increase DW by more than 10%, the increase in AFDW amounted to about 50% after 194 days of incubation. Kohrsolin did not affect DW significantly, but decreased AFDW by 14.5% in Arctica islandica and 17.5% in Macoma baltica.
