Samples were tak en using Bacescu sounding, and were separated in sieves of 2, 1, and 0,5 mm mesh aperture, in 13 stations situated in transepts perpendicular to the shore. The most prevalent groups were: foraminiferans, nema todes, nemertineans, oligochaetes, polychaetes, mollusks, and crustac eans.
