Changes in O<sub>2</sub> consumption rates were also determined in juveniles exposed to the estimated LC<sub>5</sub> and LC<sub>25</sub> values of Ag and Cd. Ag and Hg were found to be the most toxic, Ag being 95% toxic at 0.086 ppm and Hg at 0.150 ppm. Cd was relatively toxic, 95% mortality occurred at 2.33 ppm while As was relatively non-toxic requiring concns of 5.41 for 95% mortality.
