The reservoir is eutrophed by thermal pollution and sewage with significant quantity of nutrients. Interrelation between eutrophication and ichthyofauna changes is shown. Despite introduction of commercial fishes, both commercial (goldfish and blackbelly) and uncommercial (Korean sawbelly) species have prevailing (in weight) in 1992.
