Here is proposed the new method of eggs incubation period calculation and keeping of chum and pink salmon fry. This method let us to increase accuracy of the calculations compared to degree-days method which is currently in use at hatcheries. Equations for calculation of salmon oxygen requirements and water consumption in dependence on salmon age and total biomass are presented.
