The Gadidae was the most abundant family at Oldbury, both in terms of numbers of individuals (51934) and species (13). The 15 most abundant species at Oldbury included 2 anadromous 1 catadromous, 1 estuarine and 1 freshwater species. The remaining 10 species, which fall within the broad category of estuarine-dependent marine species, contained a large proportion of 0 + indivuduals.
