The film consists of four parts, each part covering a particular species. In this manner a markedly good view of the fundamental organisational characteristics of each organism and their methods of food capture is Seen. <i>Plezcrobrachia pileus</i> is shown capturing copepods; <i>Bevoe gracilis</i> is filmed during unsuccessful and successful attempts of eating tentacle pieces and entire <i>Pleurobrachia pileus</i>. A complete and detailed stiidy of the prey capture methods and of the organisation of <i>Bolinopsis infundibulum</i> is shown. <i>Beroe cucumis</i> is also filmed in detail.
