NEVLA-model). De bathymetrie werd geactualiseerd en het model werd geherkalibreerd voor het jaar 2006. Enkele elementen werden verbeterd ten opzichte van de vorige versie van het NEVLA model zoals het werd opgeleverd in 2004 (M753_01), zoals de simulatie van de verschillende harmonische componenten in de tijgolf en een betere doorstroming in het Rupelbekken en het bovenste gedeelte van de Zeeschelde. Vooral de M4 en M6 componenten in het getijsignaal werden aanzienlijk verbeterd, wat leidt tot een betere voorstelling van de getij-asymmetrie doorheen het estuarium. Bijgevolg werd voor een aantal locaties langs het estuarium ook een betere vorm bekomen van de debietcurve. Een aanduiding voor deze verbeterde vorm van de getijcurve wordt geleverd door het berekenen van de eerste afgeleide naar de tijd van het getijsignaal, wat eveneens een maat is voor de stroomsnelheid. Deze parameter wordt aanzienlijk beter weergegeven door het geherkalibreerde model in vergelijking met het oorspronkelijke NEVLA-model.<br><br>Aangezien de resultaten van dit model bevredigend zijn, kan het gebruikt worden als nieuwe versie van het randvoorwaardenmodel. De detailmodellen die gebruikt worden door het Waterbouwkundig Laboratorium in het kader van verschillende projecten (o.a. detailmodellen van Zeebrugge, Deurganckdok, Bocht van Hansweert) kunnen worden aangedreven met randvoorwaarden geleverd door het model uit deze studie.","BibLvlCode":"MS","StandardTitle":"Verbetering randvoorwaardenmodel: deelrapport 2.
