The four strains indicated differential susceptibility to the extracted crude toxin(s) as demonstrated by LD<sub>50</sub> values ranging from 5.1 µg/ml (ppm) to 9.4 µg/ml. Statistical analyses of linear regressions indicated no significant differences between replicates. Shark Bay strain had the lowest LD<sub>50</sub> (highest sensitivity) and was the easiest to raise.
