The sensor has alternative ranges of 0 to 100 mg m <sup>-3</sup> or 0 to 1000 mg m <sup>-3</sup> chlorophyll a, with a resolution of 0.1 mg m <sup>-3</sup>, and excellent long-term stability of calibration.
