Verschillende sensoren werden onderzocht op hun mogelijkheid continu het zand te bemeten dat getransporteerd wordt in onbevaarbare waterlopen. Uit het onderzoek is gebleken dat ADP-toestellen in staat zijn de lange termijnsveranderingen van zandtransport correct in te schatten.
