The corresponding frequency in a sample of 203 coastal cod from Trondheimsfjorden was 0.60. In no sample did the observed genotype distribution differ significantly from the expected proportions under genetic equilibrium. The analyses were carried out by isoelectric focussing on thin layers of polyacrylamide gel.
