Four new species (<i>Acanthochitona lineata, A. roseojugum, A. worsfoldi</i> and <i>A. zebra</i>) are described from Florida, the Bahama Islands and the northern Caribbean; <i>Acanthochitona venezuelana</i> sp. nov. is described from Margarita Id., Venezuela; <i>Acanthochitona ferreirai</i> sp. nov. is described from Pacific coasts of Panama and Costa Rica.
