This method is also used to investigate the effects of environmental changes on fish behaviour. The observations were carried out in a net pen of 30m<sup>2</sup> situated in a saltmarsh of 1800m<sup>2</sup>. Nycthemeral rhythms were observed in common sole <i>Solea solea</i> L. and turbot <i>Psetta maxima</i> L. In juvenile sea bass <i>Dicentrarchus labrax</i> L.
