The findings were made at shores at Oostende and De Panne. On later data: 28, 29 and 30 September the species could not be found anymore. Apart from one older record (1929:juvinile specimen at Zeebrugge) this is the first time that <i>P. noctiluca</i> is found in such number (between 3 and 129) washed ashore in Belgium.
