Recent findings are scarce. The author reports therefore some observations on 5 species occurring along the Belgian coast. <i>ldotea pelagica</i> and <i>ldotea granulosa</i> are common residents between tidemarks. They are living on the breakwaters around Oostende. <i>ldotea pelagica</i> Jives their in fairly great numbers between the mussels. <i>ldotea granulose</i> is less abundant and lives on <i>Polysiphonia nigrescens</i>. Numerous <i>ldotea emarginata</i> and <i>ldotea baltica</i> were found washed ashore on a beach at Oostende on 24 September 1994. They were living between cast-up waste and remains of various marine organisms, mainly <i>Lanice conchiglea</i> and Alcyonidium. As they are scavengers, they were probably feeding upon it.Finally the author reports a finding of 1 specimen of <i>ldotea neglecta</i>. The specimen was collected from a piece of driftwood cast ashore on the Lombardsijde beach. The wood was covered with <i>Lepas anatifera</i>. Reports of <i>ldotea emarginata</i> and <i>ldotea neglecta</i> are scarce from Belgium and the Netherlands. Their occurence is probably more frequent than thought.
