Although environmental protection is currently the subject of many legal concerns, only a few paragraphs on it appear here, as the theme is to be dealt with in a forthcoming edition. Aspects concerning how the law applies differently in different sea areas are favoured here, since a good knowledge of them is indispensable to users of the sea concerned to know which jurisdiction applies in any particular place.
