The GHER one dimension al mixed layer sub-model coupled with a simple food-web model (LEPM) including heat and momentum exchanges at the air-sea interface allows to study temporal variations of vertical distribution of the properties associated with hydrodynamic constraints and atmospheric conditions variations. This coupled model is a good tool to study the consequences of human impact (eutrophication, greenhouse warming, ...) on ecosystem dynamics.
