(C.) cinereus</i> and <i>S. (C.) mediterraneus</i>. Amongst 299 studied fish, only one <i>S. (C.) mediterraneus</i> of 96 mm of standard length had ovocytes in the seminifery tubes of its testicles. Among <i>Dentex macrophtalmus</i> (Sparidae), we found no indication of hermaphrodism. Lipidic cell islands were found in the testicles of these four species, constantly among the vocytes in the seminifere tubes of its testicles, among <i>Dentex macrophtalmus</i>, and during the sexual rest, among certain <i>Symphodus</i>. From the sexual maturity of the latter, we find cells with a seemingly morphologic character, but without lipids, in small accumulation between the seminifery tubes. Identical elements can be found in the ovary of the four species. The significance of these cells is discussed, and their nature of interstitial cells (of Leydig) is proposed, awaiting the follow up of the work.","AbstractOtherLang":"Les indices histologiques de protogynie sont d'une occurrence rare chez les trois especes de <i>Symphodus (Labridae)</i> étudiées : <i>Symphodus (Crenilabrus ocellatus, S. Des îlots de cellules ipidiques ont été trouvés dans les testicules de ces quatre espèces, constamment chez <i>Dentex macrophtalmus</i>, et lors du repos sexuel chez certains <i>Symphodus</i>. Lors de la maturité sexuelle de ces derniers, on trouve des cellules à caractères morphologiques semblables, mais sans lipides, en petits amas entre les tubes séminifères. Des éléments identiques se retrouvent dans les ovaires des quatre espèces.
