Nine species are new to science and are described and illustrated. Only one species from the <i>T. conspicuus - notabilis</i> group was found: <i>T. ornatulus</i> Meuffels & Grootaert. Three species belong to the <i>T. gratiosus</i> group (former genus <i>Mastigomyia</i> Becker) that is supposed to be arboricolous: <i>T. temasek</i>, new species, <i>T. neesoonensis</i>, new species, and <i>T. antennatus</i>, new species, <i>T. spinulosus</i> new species, and <i>T. acuminatus</i>, new species. <i>T. pauper</i> from Thailand is re-examined and illustrated. Three species belong to the <i>T. pectinatus</i> group and all live here in mangrove: <i>T. simplicissimus</i> Meuffels & Grootaert, <i>T. limosus</i>, new species, <i>T. bulohensis</i>, new species. Two species are considered incertae sedis and not assigned to a species group: <i>T. krabiensis</i> Meuffels & Grootaert, a species from coastal sandy beaches and <i>T. stenostigma</i> Meuffels & Grootaert, a species from stream beds in forest. A key is given for all Singaporean species. In addition, some records of species from Malaysia are given and a mangrove species from Pulau Tioman (Malaysia) related to Singaporean mangrove species is described as well.
