These are dominated by the Comesomatidae family which represents 35 % of the population in the D.E. and 39,4 % in the V.B. The most abundant species <i>Sabatieria stekhoveni</i>, is identical in the two biotopes. Each of these is however clearly identified. Eight species are characteristic of D.E., 16 of V.B. The muddy detritic bottoms are favorable to the diversification of the Oxystominidae, Ceramonematidae and Desmoscolecidae families, the bathyal mud to the Diplopeltula, Disconema and Metadasynemella genera.
