Astromoana, a new subgenus of Asteroporpa Oestedt & Lütken, is described and a new generic name, Astrosierra, is proposed for species of Conocladus H. L. Clark, which itself replaces Astroconus Döderlein. New species are assigned to Asteroschema (1), Astromoana (2), Astrosierra (1), Astroceras (2), and Asteromorpha (1). Eighteen specific and three generic names are involved in synonymy, and four new combinations are proposed. Nineteen species are new to the region, and a further 18 have their recorded ranges extended.
