Het is zondermeer duidelijk dat wij de aanwezigheid van honderden Steenlopers en enkele honderden Paarse Strandlopers aan deze strandhoofden te danken hebben. Deze soorten vinden hierop foerageermogelijkheden zoals zij die in hun natuurlijke biotopen, zijnde rotskusten, aantreffen. In voorgaande studies komt het gebruik van deze strandhoofden door deze steltlopers meermaals aan bod.
