The discovery of a specimen of <i>Mimachlamys varia</i> (Pectinidae) bearing two <i>Clathrella clathrata</i> (Amathinidae) in Sicilian waters is here reported. Such association is a reminder that a trophic relation exists between some pyramidellacean gastropods and some marine bivalves. Three of them are illustrated here: <i>Clathrella clathrata</i> on <i>Mimachlamys varia, Amathina tricarinata</i> on <i>Spondylus spinosus</i> and <i>Odostomia eulimoides</i> on <i>Mimachlamys varia</i>.
