It is an uncommon example of inverse vaulting (ventribiconvex shell) in atrypid shells. The genus <i>Iowatrypa</i>, distributed over several localities of the northern hemisphere, is recorded from Belgium for the first time.","AbstractOtherLang":"Les spécimens appartenant à l'espèce nouvelle <i>Iowatrypa rotundicollis</i> proviennent de lentilles calcaires (biohermes) qui se sont développées à la fin du Frasnien au bord sud du Synclinorium de Dinant et dans le \"massif\" de Roly. L'espèce fait partie des derniers représentants des brachiopodes atrypidés dont l'histoire se termine peu avant la fin des temps frasniens.
