In deze periode zijn verschillende facetten zoals de geologie, de hydraulica en de morfologie van de monding bestudeerd. De fenomenologische interpretatie van waargenomen ontwikkeling tussen 1970 en 1995 op basis van deze onderzoeken is in dit rapport gebruikt om tot een voorspelling te komen van de morfologie van de
