A COI Neighbour-Joining tree is given for the Southeast Asian <i>Elaphropeza</i> species showing large genetic distances between the species. The morphological characterisation of the <i>ephippiata</i>-group and the <i>biuncinata</i>-group <i>sensu</i> Shamshev & Grootaert 2007 is confirmed.
