The stratigraphic range of <i>L. polonicus</i> is defined as from Lower Campanian to Upper Maastrichtian. On the basis of comparisons between <i>Leptothyrellopsis polonicus</i> and various other similar-looking brachiopods, including the Recent <i>Leptothyrella</i> MUIR-WOOD, <i>Leptothyrellopsis polonicus</i> is retained, meantime, in <i>Incertae sedis</i>.","AbstractOtherLang":"Cette note présente une description revisée de <i>Leptothyrellopsis polonicus</i> BITNER & PISERA, 1979 basée sur un matériel nouveau provenant de Cuesmes et de Ciply (Bassin de Mons, Hainaut, Belgique). Le matériel type ainsi que de nouveaux spécimens provenant de Mielnik (Pologne) ont été examinés. L'amplitude stratigraphique de <i>Leptothyrellopsis polonicus</i> s'étend du Campanien Inférieur au Maastrichtien Supérieur.
