Seventy ostracod species, the majority of which are figured, have been identified in the uppermost beds of the Frasnian of this section. The assemblage of ostracods is rich and diversified and belongs to the Eifelian ecotype which is emended to take the occurrence of Podocopida, occasionally in abundance, into account. It characterizes here a well oxygenated marine environment below wave base probably on the outer platform. Among the 70 species occurring in the uppermost beds of the Frasnian. 16 survive the Late Devonian mass extinction at Devils Gate or in other sections (=Lazarus species). No ostracod assemblage characteristic of oxygen depleted water conditions has been identified at Devils Gate. Such an assemblage rich in Entomozoacean and Cypridacean ostracods (= Myodocopid ecotype) occurs just below the Frasnian/Famennian boundary in several European sections. Thus probably anoxic water conditions could not alone explain the disappearance of about 80% of ostracods close the Frasnian/Famennian boundary on the West american craton. Five new species are erected: <i>Amphissites sandbergi</i> nov. sp., <i>Kozlowskiella lazarei</i> nov. sp., <i>Bairdia (Rectobairdia) proximischimensis</i> nov. sp., <i>Bairdia (Rectobairdia) altodorsualis</i> nov. sp. and <i>Bairdia (Rectobairdia) pintoensis</i> nov. sp.","AbstractOtherLang":"Dans le cadre d'une étude consacrée à l'extinction en masse du Dévonien Supérieur, nous présentons ici les Ostracodes extraits de 15 échantillons récoltés dans la Zone à <i>linguiformis</i> des Conodontes de la coupe du col de Devils Gate, au Nevada. Soixante-dix espèces presque toutes figurées ici sont présentes dans l'extrême sommet du Frasnien de Devils Gate. L'assemblage, riche et diversifié, appartient à l'écotype de l'Eifel dont la définition doit être émendée pour tenir compte de la présence de Podocopida parfois en abondance. Il indique ici un milieu marin franc bien oxygéné situé sous la zone d'action des vagues, probablement sur la plate-forme externe. Parmi les 70 espèces recensées, 16 survivent à la crise biologique du Dévonien Supérieur et réapparaissent dans la base du Famennien (= espèces \"lazares\"). L'assemblage caractéristique d'environnements pauvres en oxygène dissous ( - écotype à Myodocopida) n'est pas mis en évidence à Devils Gâte contrairement à l'ostracodofaune de plusieurs coupes européennes où les Entomozoacea et les Cypridinacea apparaissent juste sous la limite des étages Frasnien et Famennien. Ainsi l'anoxie des eaux marines ne serait probablement pas le seul facteur responsable de la disparition de près de 80% des espèces au niveau de la limite des étages Frasnien et Famennien sur le craton ouest-américain.
