The age of this material is supposed to he mainly pliocense. The following species are discussed: Sphenotrochus milletianus (Defrance), Sphenotrochus boytonensis Tomes, Culicia parasitica (Michelin), Flabellum cf michelini Milne Edwards & Haime, Plahellum cf siciliense Milne Edwards & Haime, Turhinolia nysti Milne Edwards & Haime (age Eocene).
