Two new Synaptida species are described for the Weddell Sea in Antarctica with single author O’Loughlin: <i>Sigmodota magdarogera</i> sp. nov. and <i>Taeniogyrus bamberi</i> sp. nov.. A specimen of <i>Sigmodota magnibacula</i> (Massin & Hétérier) is described.
