The impressive growth of the sector during the last decades continues and by 2020, EWEA expects 40 GW of offshore wind capacity to be installed across Europe and 150 GW by 2030. However, the growth of the offshore wind sector will not happen without a strong supply chain underpinning its development. This paper presents the latest developments of the offshore wind power market and the objectives the supply chain needs to meet to assist the growth of the industry.
