During the spawning season males consumed high numbers of <i>Pomatoschistus</i> eggs, presumably after aggressive take-overs of territories. The food of <i>P. minutus</i> is compared to the food of <i>P. lozanoi</i> of the same size classes obtained from the same hauls.
