The fields are normally defined by four wind vectors at the corners of the environment. To include the shelter effect of a moored vessel, a local wind field around the moored vessel must be implemented. This report discusses CFD calculations that have been performed to generate such a field for a roro-ferry with length of 235 m and a breadth of 35 m moored in the Brittannia dock in the port of Zeeb rugge. A pure transversal wind field was applied with an atmospheric boundary layer.
