Lip structure, amphideal fovea, cuticular appendages (setae, spines, anal and copulatory thorns), annules and vacuoles, body inversion, setae ambulatoriae region, vulva, cloaca/anus and tail end are SEM studied and illustrated. Additionally, <i>E. pustulatum</i> (from Spain, Italy and Lebanon) is compared with other former <i>Bathyepsilonema</i> species. <i>E. anulosum</i> (Verschelde & Vincx, 1992) is proposed as a junior synonym of <i>E. pustulatum</i>.
