Heterocystous taxa of the Nostocales and Stigonematales are especially common in the intertidal zone. Ten taxa were recorded; one of these, Microchaete aeruginea var. papuana, is new to science. Several rare taxa with a tropical distribution, i.e. Herpyzonema intermedium, Hormothamnion enteromorphoides, H. solutum, and Scytonema polycystum were also observed.","AbstractOtherLang":null,"BibLvlCode":"AS","StandardTitle":"Marine Cyanophyceae of Papua-New-Guinea.
