A hitherto unknown species is described herein as <i>M. ibera</i> sp. nov., and compared with these two. It has gastrozooids and dactylozooids similar to those of <i>M. cornucopiae</i>, but its female gonozooids are different, being smaller and having the gonophores placed distally.
