Agardh; <i>Neomeris annulata</i> Dickie; <i>Neomeris bilimbata</i> Koster; <i>Udotea indica</i> A. Gepp & E.Gepp. Three of the above genera (<i>Avrainvillea,Boodleopsis</i> and <i>Bornetella</i>) are new for South Africa. Descriptions and illustrations are provided for each species.
