Fifteen species have been identified, of which four are new: M. africana, M. danigoi, M.flamma and M. musorstomia. The allied genus Platymera, formerly submerged within Mursia, is reinstated as a distinct genus. All taxa are described, photographed and illustrated, and a key to their identification is provided.
