Goa has both sandy beaches as well as rocky shorelines. Plentiful shells are seen scattered on many secluded beaches in Goa. With this in focus, the photographs of the shells presented in this book are, as far as possible, ‘in situ’ photographs of shells in the same condition as actually found on the beaches of Goa.
