This is based on an integrated approach, including field measurement campaigns, numerical modelling and the definition and evaluation of a number of morphological indicators. This paper refers to XBeach model software set-up and application to the project site. This aimed for the discussion of the short-term morphological effects of three storm events, which occurred at the project site between 2013 and 2015. Because of the long fetches only existing through the north direction, for all the storms, the highest observed waves were from the north and northwest directions.
