In this study, this species is redescribed and transferred to the genus <i>Elthusa</i> according to the current status of this: body weakly twisted, antennula shorter than antenna, posterior margin of cephalon not trilobed, pleonite 1 slightly narrower than pleonite 2, maxilliped with oostegital lobe and pleopods all lamellar, without lobes or folds. This species was collected on the red bandfish, <i>Cepola macrophthalma</i>, and reported for the first time in the Sea of Marmara, Turkey.
