Detailed morphological investigations are presented using scanning electron microscopy with particular attention for internal coil system. This new species is compared with two related taxa <i>E. formosa</i> (Truan & Witt) Bergon described from the Middle Eocene sediments from Conset, Barbados and <i>E. hungarica</i> Holmes & Brigger 1979 from the Miocene sediments from Szurdokpüspöki, Hungary.
