Abstract

A revision of Bursa scrobilator (Linnaeus, 1758) fossil record from various Pleistocene Mallorcan outcrops has been conducted, from published sources and existing historical and recent collections. The presence of Bursa corrugata Perry, 1811 in the studied zone is confirmed and characterized as a new member of Mediterranean Pleistocene ‘senegalese’ fauna.
