The present occurrence of <i>P. caudaensis</i> in coastal waters of Indonesia is only the second record for the species since Nouvel established it based on specimens from Vietnam. A new species, <i>Pseudoxomysis incisa</i>, is described from the Sahul Shelf, Timor Sea.
