Twelve species of <i>Caulerpa</i> have been collected so far, some including several varieties: <i>C. brachypus, C. cupressoides, C. elongata, C. fastigiata, C. lentillifera, C. mexicana, C. racemosa</i> (with several var.), <i>C. scalpelliformis, C. serrulata, C. sertularioides, C. taxifolia, C. verticillata</i>.
