The very first significant researches of marine snails were conducted in 2015. through two projects, „Biodiversity of the Neum Bay“ by Sharklab ADRIA and IPA Adriatic project „DeFishGear“ by Hydrotechnical Institute of Sarajevo with technical and scientific support by Sharklab ADRIA. The investigated species <i>Hexaplex trunculus</i> (Linneaus, 1758) is usual in Neum Bay and it has been recorded in all previous works, but more detailed morphoanatomical and ecological analyzes have not been recorded.
