They are composed by Permocalculus and Gymnocodium algae, Codonofusiella, Reichelina and Nankinella, Fusulinida and Cornuspiroidea, Nodosariata, Biseriamminodea and Palaeotextularioidea. They are included in red nodular limestones of Ammonitico Rosso type. The highest Permian beds contain an assemblage of Neoendothyra reicheli, whose type of deposit is discussed as an example of the problematic presence of foraminifera in red nodular limestones during the Palaeozoic.
